Arseny collective farm was established in
1950 based on five collective farms (Voro-
shilov in Chizhovo village, Kranaya Zarya
in Litvintsevo village, Vtoraya Pyatiletka in
Ivantsevo village, Arseny in Avdeyevo village,
and Put Lenina in Lavrovo village).
The enterprise is engaged in the production
and marketing of milk and meat, and the
growth of potatoes, cereals and fodder crops.
Selection is regularly carried out for improv-
ing the genetic features of the cattle, which
increases the milk yield and animal fertility.
The enterprise closely cooperates with Be-
lyayev Agricultural Academy in Ivanovo and
All-Russian Institute of Cattle Breeding in
Podolsk.
The enterprise employs an automatic zoo-
cultural registration of livestock with the
help of the SELEKS software which enables
determination of the pedigree value of each
animal. The enterprise has a good fodder
supply base. Additionally, it purchases ener-
gy-rich fodders and mineral nutrients.
The enterprise possesses a cattle breeding
complex for 600 head of dairy cows with a
milking system EuroParallel 2*20, rebuilds a
cowshed for 400 head of cattle, a calf-house
and a fattening facility for keeping young
cattle in an unheated accommodation.
The farm’s products are supplied to Vladimir
region, AO Danon Company and distributed
in Shuysky district.
