OOO SHARTOM

OOO SHARTOM is a support farm located
in the Nikolo-Shartomsky males’ monastery
where laymen (hired employees) work along
with the monastery’s inmates. The production
is fully automatic, including a full cycle from
grain seed preparation to bread baking and
production of milk and cheese.
The company has been on the market for 17
years.
Product line and production capacity:
• crop production (grains and wheat seeds,
barley, oats, peas, buckwheat, potatoes,
herb seeds (Pleum, i.e., timothy, phacelia,
clover);
• animal husbandry (cattle breeding, milk
production);
• honey,
• industrial processing (cottage cheese, sour
cream/smetana, cheese, butter, sunflower
oil, cereals (pearl-barley, semolina, ground
barley, wheat grits, buckwheat groats,
ground oats), wheat meal (1, 2, 3 grade,
whole grain)
• kvass production,
• preservation,
• frozen semi-finished products (fish dump-
lings, vareniki, fish rissoles, syrniki/cottage
cheese pancakes) and others.
The company staff is 14 people.
