The Odintsovs Apiary (OdinMed) is the
largest, state-of-the-art apiary in the Iva-
novo region. The farming household has
around 800 bee families. For diversifying
the grades of honey, the hives are placed
in seven unique localities. In addition,
honey production herbs are planted, such
as phacelia (scorpion-weed) and melilot
(sweet clover).
OdinMed gathers up to 7 grades of hon-
ey (May-produced, lime flower, lime flow-
er with motley grass, forest, motley grass,
phacelia, meadow) totaling up to 25 tons
per year. Also, the farm gathers and pro-
cesses the apiary products like propolis
(bee-glue), honey with propolis, propolis
ointment, ambrosia (bee-bread), royal jelly,
honey with ambrosia and royal jelly, dead
bees, pollen, pyralidids, and much more.
The apiary is equipped with three electrical
honey separators, cells print machine, and
beeswax production line. Honey extraction
and apiculture product processing take
place in a specially equipped workshop.
The farm has tractors and combine har-
vesters for tilling 80 ha of soil and a han-
gar with hardware for grading and drying
phacelia seeds.
The company employs 3 people.
