The collective farm Zarya was estab-
lished in 1961, following restructuring of
the collective farm Rodina. In 2002, the
collective farm Zarya was converted to
the agricultural production cooperative
Zarya.
Located on the territory of the farm are a
kindergarten, a school, and a community
center, which the enterprise financially
supports to the extent they need.
The enterprise is engaged in the produc-
tion and marketing of milk and beef, as
well as in the growth and sale of cereals
and fodder crops.
SPK Zarya has a good fodder base, en-
abling it to sell part of the procured fod-
ders to agricultural cooperatives that
need them. The cooperative possesses
1,828 hectares of land. It purchases en-
ergy-strong fodders and mineral nutri-
ents for increasing the milk cows’ yield.
The enterprise rebuilds a cowshed for
340 head of cattle with a calving depart-
ment and Midiline 6x6 milking parlor.
Currently, the enterprise’s main concerns
are rehabilitation of the livestock, im-
provement of selection and reduction of
human factor on the production process.
