Built in 1924, the Ivanovo parachute man-
ufacturing plant, incorporated by the Tekh-
nodinamika Holding Company, is today
Russia’s largest complete production cycle
enterprise.
The plant manufactures a wide range
of parachute and airborne equipment:
troop-carrying, spare, sports, rescue, train-
ing, landfall braking systems as well as
special-purpose parachutes and tandem
systems.
The company’s manufacturing facilities
include: sewing production factory, metal-
working department, textile and chemical
laboratories, design bureau, and its own
team of testers.
The total area of manufacturing facilities
is 17,000 sq meters. The enterprise uses
modern equipment. The parachute manu-
facturing plant carries out its own research
and development.
The company has a complete package of
state issued licenses for development,
manufacture, repair and recycling of para-
chute equipment, including dual and mil-
itary use types and a license from the FSB
(Federal Security Service) for work with
information that constitutes a state secret.
The number of personnel – over 650 peo-
ple.
