Textile Company

“Russky Dom” Textile Company has operated on
the Russian textile market since March 1992. The
company dynamically develops its business, dis-
playing itself as a reliable partner and supplier of
high-quality crude and finished fabrics as well as
finished cloths. The “Russky Dom” textile company
incorporates a sewing factory in the town of Furman-
ov and Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) finishing plant
in the settlement of Kamenka (Vichugsky district of
Ivanovo region) plus two sewing workshops. Those
facilities ensure a full cycle production of cotton and
cotton-blended fabrics.
The sewing factory in Furmanov specializes in the
production of crude fabrics. Using the updated equip-
ment, it turns out coarse calico, poplin, waffle cloth,
flannel, tent fabric, serge, diagonal, two-thread cloth,
moleskin, twill, rip-stop and much more.
Crude fabrics are finished at the “Krasny Oktyabr”
finishing plant known for its superior quality of
bleached, uniformly-dyed and printed fabrics. A new
printing workshop has been commissioned capable
of printing images on wide cloths (2.40 m).
The chemical laboratory of the “Russky Dom” textile
factory improves the existing types of finishing and
develops new coatings for giving special properties
to fabrics. Nowadays, the company turns out cloths
with water, wind, and oil-resistant features.
The “Russky Dom” textile company’s product range
includes not only fabrics but also finished products
like home wear textile garments and special purpose
clothing.
The high quality of the fabrics has been recognized
by the partners in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbeki-
stan. The company does not rest on its laurels. As-
sisted by the Exports Support Centre it strengthens
relations with other countries.
The company staff includes 1,100 people (office, fac-
tories, sewing departments).
